1. The State doesn’t need money. They print as much fiat as they want.

2. All the brains are in Bitcoin. The State needs its best and brightest to remain competitive against other States.

3. Bitcoin is supremely mobile. An overbearing State risks demonstrating its impotence.

At most we’ll hear saber rattling from the increasingly irrelevant caste of career politicians.
