Can Nostr handle sub communities, similar to Reddit for example? Would that be through relays?

For example, I might want to partake in discussions about a TV show, about my region, about Apple, woodworking, etc? I’d be great to have a way to separate these in different feeds.

Or is that how relays are meant to be used - once more specialized relays are created? If so, it’d be great if there was a way to filter our feed by relay.

Reddit is another tool I’d like to stop using! 🤷🏻‍♂️
