blocks don't tend to really do much as far as i can tell. hell, iris barely handles them at all really

Following or not, it’s fake comfort unless you only post FO on fedi and are very diligent about who you allow to follow you. Ppl can and do archive posts on fedi.

i've blocked cum dumpster, and benito chavez wilson at least 10x each but they keep finding me somehow.

They’re just bots that already know about you. I don’t see them really on Damus, and I’m sure Iris will sort it out soon.
