Hieromartyr Evangelicus of Tomis, steadfast in faith during Diocletian's persecutions, refused to sacrifice to pagan idols. Imprisoned and tortured, he remained unyielding, proclaiming Christ. Thrown into the sea, he was glorified by God, appearing to his flock as they prayed.
