Created by the developer JohnLaw2, allows more flexibility for off-chain resizing channels

What's Hierarchical Channels?

The proposal concede resizing channels without requiring an exchange of capacity within limited pool.

How works?

Each output using HC funds can see the root of an off-chain tree outputs where leave owned by single users. Both parties can use HTLCs for over payments on LN.

Potential Use

With Hierarchical channels this will accelerate scalability of the Lightning having less latency, no necessary changes on Bitcoin Core or L1, etc.

Epilogue

I'm very excited with this new idea and get together with LSP and have Bitcoin mass adoption
