I have several acquaintances that go to Las Vegas specifically for the buffets. I've never been and refuse to go since it's near the top of my "do not travel there" list.

Buffets scare me.

Have yet to try it. But I would recommend hitting the Arts District if in Vegas.

Vegas resident and buffets are almost extinct. There are only a handful left.

That said, the ones left are strictly for quantity. For example, the Wynn buffet is seafood heavy so if you love crab legs, this is where you would eat your weight in them.
