I remember when Ubuntu was trying to make a phone. I liked that idea.
Others sought to make a cheaper better phone 📱 before & couldn’t do it affordable for most people IIRC.

Also check out lineageos. It's running like a dream on my Motorola g32. No need to buy a google pixel cell phone and therefor support the google bastards.
Lineageos is like graphene is in fact android, but without the google shit. Apps can be installed via fdroid and aurora store. Aurora store has most of the known apps, but every time you enter aurora, a new google session will be triggered.
