This will take decades and the US may be the last to come around but this is the way

Small countries with FIAT currencies with low market cap have a huge advantage. They can actually try to back their currency with BTC. At current price the US would need 987,888,420 BTC. A country like Jamaica would “only” need 237,530 BTC. US can consider a peg to BTC once it hits 1M, not before.
