How can you think, eating another life is heaven?? If you ever see the same life force lives in what you choose to eat, you may think twice..
Sure, I certainly ate my share of ALLL the animals.. Still happy I changed my ways 12 years ago.
I can't be sure it is the "right" thing to do, reality is a fickle thing. But, I'm happy and healthy.

Sry. but I highly doubt that plants "scream" or "sing" Have seen claims both online and at seminars. All very dodgy looking. At a certain point of complexity, live seems to "experience" itself more. I doubt ants has complex relationships with other ants, ponder the greater world around them etc. No chance that single celled organisms do.
Life consumes life. It is what it is.
