Trump is doing his damndest to exponentially increase the power of the executive and convince his supporters (and many bitcoiners) to cheer him on.

Many things he wants to do are with Congress, but he and musk barrel forward illegally anyway even though he has majorities in Congress. Why?

This will backfire. The executive has gotten too strong, it doesn’t matter which party, too much power is concentrated in it. No bitcoiner should cheer this on. It will go against freedom, privacy, and cause an increase in federal gov power in the hands of the executive as King

I agree the executive branch has too much power, and the legislative branch has abdicated a lot of their power.

What has Trump done that is illegal? He is the head of the executive branch so he has the ability to shape how it functions. If he is out of line then the legislature and the courts *should* check him.

It's a strange power play because the Dems expand the power of their offices too and are only concerned when their enemies weild the power they created.

For example under Obama they change Supreme Court nominees to only require a simple majority. It was great when they were in power. But then Trump got his justice picks through with the rule they created. The Dems literally fell into their own pit and actually helped overturn Roe v Wade.
