Noisy, im here from the beggining, when nostr were just dust and tech guys, a normie couldnt even use the protocol.

Ive see the creation and evolution of nostr, and im talking about an implementation of a system, Web of Trust, the basicly puts the users rely on the preferences of big accounts, that was done to boost the accounts of influencers here even if they tell it otherwise, that makes the user need to trust third people choices, specially big accounts, because its on them that 90% of people rely on, and thats what i compare with Ethereum.

Thank you for responding, and its awesome that you are an original since Nostr's inception. Forgive my anger.

Prior to Nostr I was following Lyn Alden (her macro view on broken money), Jeff Booth (his comparison of BTC/USD), Matt ODell/Marty Bent (geopolitical, BTC updates and regulations likely to impact BTC), Jack Dorsey (the various projects to create software to help onboard people into BTC), Peter MacCormack (the impact of BTC people in countries suffering high inflation and their currency is practically toast).

I've never considered them influencers . I respect them for their knowledge and their willingness to share what they know. Influenced by them? Of course. When they have something to say - I sit up and listen. The kicker is - I don't blindly follow them. I don't worship them. I apply their teachings to my bubble. We all have different realities, different priorities and yet they have helped shape my education on what is money. There are many more out there that deserve a mention.

All have one thing in common - they see Trumps train wreck coming and its picking up speed. They are helping us get off the train track.

I'm sorry I misunderstood your comparison to ethereum. I get the point.

Im always here for talk and show my views, i try to put it outside and i want to see a big future for nostr as a permissionless and fair for all protocol and with uncensorable caracteristics.

But i also saw shaddy agendas behind some big accounts and clients.

You have some clients example, you download it and create an account there and you are suddenly following all this "friends" accounts, also they have sensored accounts that they didnt like.

They say that it is for being easyer to find people to follow, but "possibly or probably" that isn't the case..

They also say that using the custodial wallet by default that KYCs you is to make it easy to onboard people to use bitcoin, and we can know that it "probably" isn't the case, because the funding that comes to that client comes from that custodial wallet , that is also funded "probably" by some big company that makes stablecoins.

Sometimes 1+1=2 sometimes no, time will tell

I'm new to Nostr. Not even a month.

First impressions -

1. Reading a breakdown of Bitchat from Calle.

2. Discovering the possibilities of Whitenoise

3. Cybersecurity issues. Currently studying Minimalist Privacy set ups.

4. Finding out Proton is front run by Cloudflare. Looking for an alternative.

5. Reading that bombing Iran, didn't affect BTC mining by sooly.

There's more, but you get the gist.

So much learning material and I'm really grateful.

Now, back to the issues you list. Can we separate perception (BS) from perspective (reality).

1. Clarify big accounts .

Are they BTC maxis?

Or they have a big fan base.

2. Clarify clients.

Are you referring to the apps used?

If so, which apps.

Or are you referring to the fan base.

3. Can you give an example of a client where I can see what you've experienced. I understand your concept, just can't visualize the issue. Especially the one issuing KYC wallets. That is not BTC. That is not Nostr.

As a side note - I keep being followed by a band of 5-6, no engagement. Checked out a couple of them - meditation and cosmology - and I don't understand how that equates with my notes. A mystery.

4. I don't have a problem with censorship. In fact I muted one - caught him out in a lie and he tried head fucking me. I gave him, his pedigree and muted him.

5. I hear your frustration, and am truly sorry for biting your head off.

I don't know where this journey will take us, but I'm on board if you'll let me.

Two heads are better than one. And there is a wrongness in your experience against what Nostr was built for.
