The laptop got parted out too because the pawn shop didn't see much value in it.

I know when I was taking shitty temp jobs I did that with my netbook, it got me through a late night shift where nothing was happening for hours and I was sent there several hours into the guy's job and I think all I did was lift something out of a box and maybe plug something in, and just wait for some guy to call me and say it was done.
I was meanwhile typing out game ideas for a game I never got to make with now former friends during that time, shit was fun.
