On this day quite few years ago, my mom passed away from a long battle with Lupus and Cancer. As a child she said, if she could pick a day to cross over it would be April Fools day so that on the anniversary of her death would be a day filled with laughter. Happy April Fools day Mom, all the pranksters are having so much fun and the world is filled with laughter. 💜🦋✨

I'm so sorry to hear that! I lost my 47-year-old wife to cancer a year and a half ago, and having an 11-year-old at the time was devastating. I guess it takes years to get over it but each year is easier. It's nice to see people like you coping and rebuilding your life
