These spammers and name-squatters are relentless. They just do not care about giving us bitcoin. We block IPs and pubkeys and they just come back with different sets of them. It's incredible.

Part of me thinks that they just do not understand what they're doing. They don't understand what NIP-05 means or how it works or why a multi-million or billion dollar brand would ever use a domain that isn't their own.

That said, the amount of DAO, NFT, MetaMask, etc. IDs makes me think it's scammers and shitcoiners looking to do their thing.

Just complaining out loud here, transparency and all.

they don’t understand… prior to damus hitting the App Store there was large sets of eth and nft bot nets using #[2] to link pubkeys to twitter. But this kinda just made it really easy to see the bot nets on Twitter because global a list of all their accounts with the same RT’d tweets. Clearly someone finally figured out that nip 05 exists, but you are correctly they still aren’t clear about how any of this works.

I just use my following feed as global - I don’t have any specific relays set up so my global is literally useless

Been having a great time interacting with people I follow, and you still get exposure to other users through replies

When I get my invite to zebedee (have asked andre) mine will have a very expensive bot friendly entry, and a cheaper proper one for humans, if zebebdee allows (my dev thinks it does).
