I've been going from one extreme to the other in my head recently when it comes to privacy and personal opsec. One side wants to hide everything from the government because it's none of their business. The otherside wants to partner with the Google machine and be totally transparent about everything. It's not even the convenience that sells me. It's probably mostly my slant toward legacy marketing...
