Do I need to investigate Porcupine Tree? 🧐 #progstr problems with agony aunt nostr:npub1p3q90x8quww274xjkggc0xap665k2yymzwyl54w6tweqmktt5ksqfv9t86
What over modules am I underprepared for? The Canterbury scene? Third ear band? I need to cram.

Might as well check out Porcupine Tree. I'm not into them but I wouldn't pass judgement on anyone else for liking them! Canterbury IS prog for probably 90% of progsters so you'll want to know it if you're planning to sperg out on the Prog Archives forums. Some of the more recent Swedish prog is worth checking out too. I've been neglecting #progstr of late but I'll dig up some links later on.
Yeah I gave porcupine tree a go earlier and wasn't really my thing. But it wasn't terrible, so might stick on something else by them just to give it a fair shot.
I don't really get the prog classifications lol. Turns out yeah, almost everything is Canterbury scene ¯\_(ツ)_/¯. I wouldn't dare go on the prog archive forum, are you mad??? I don't even know what prog is and is not 🫨
