My friend works at YALE, part of her job is teaching CPR to employees.

After class, a woman approaches her and said she found her use of the words obese to be offensive. This was when explaining how to do CPR on morbidly obese individuals.

She suggested she change it to, extra layers of adipose tissue for her class.

My friend politely explained how her instructions come directly from the American Heart Association and she should definitely contact them to have a change instituted 🤣🤣🤣
