#goodafternoon #nostr! As we close out another #year, it brings the chance to #pause and #reflect on the year that was and look to the #newyear ahead. #resolutions are easy to make and I make point of not making them but I do like to try and make a point of #focus for each year and I find that works.

#2026 is coming up fast and I'm feeling that #connection is the area to #focus on. Now some would wonder why when I already know a lot of people but #2025 made me more mindful of the difference between people I know and people I call #friend.

#friendship is a beautiful thing and we all need friends. True friends are the ones we don't hesitate to help. We will do it in a heartbeat for them and they would do it for you - not in a transactional way but just because they truly care. They're the ones who you can spend endless hours with and feel #recharged instead of drained.

May 2026 be the year for connections - some will run #deeper, some will come, some will go - as is the #natural order of things but take a #moment to think about your #circle. Who can you #help more or be more present for? Who only shows up when they want something? Who makes your life better and inspires you to make others' lives better? Who do you think of when you see the picture on this post?
