This is a fundraiser event, where 50% of the winnings will be donated to MI Bitpac. MI Bitpac is a ‘BTC treasury’ multisig cooperative controlled by @annarborbitcoin , @detbtc , @grbtc , @swmibitcoiners , and @LakeSatoshi meetup organizers.

It’s an effort to setup and host meetups month after month, this Bitpac was organized to support each others efforts without the need of a corporate sponsor.
