The google pixels have possibly the worst charging ports, i haven't owned one pixel ever that hasn't been super loose fitting and spotty on charging.

Mine has been solid. Most of the time the USB gets dodgy it just needs a thorough cleaning.

I've cleaned mine and tried several different cables, it's possible I've just been very unlucky with which devices I've gotten I suppose.
