It looks like Start9's clearnet will require port forwarding for most people.

Works for me. Been waiting almost 2 years for the update at this point. I'm ready.

Same here. I'll def use it, probably with their StartTunnel on a VPS.

I posted on the Matrix Support about the Crowdfund for the StartWRT device. We’re supposed to receive an update before the end of the year. 🤞

Was told the hw was finalized and frontend designed, but it won’t be a focus until 0.4.0 is released. I paused some of my builds based on this info; so I hope it’s no too much longer.

But that's for the router product though right? I thought they were coming out with an update to StartOS that makes it easier to connect to my node remotely (even if I have to do some port forwarding). Is that your understanding?

Yes, that’s the separate router solution on StartWRT.

I believe your also correct on the 0.4.0 enabling remote without port forwarding using a reverse‑tunnel relay (StartOS Cloud Relay). At least that’s my understanding. Anyone know more?

Yes, we do port-forwading on the home router for clearnet on the Sovran Pro. It really is the best way.

Would IPV6 help?
