So I connected to #alby in the first screenshot. And selected #zeus in the second screenshot. What could I possibly be doing wrong?

I think so. #zaps go to my Alby wallet now.
I connected #alby in the highlighted section in screenshot 1, and picked #zeus in the zaps tab on the second screenshot. The only thing that confused me was the fact that I didn’t get notifications from #zeus wallet when I got #zapped.
This is the correct way? Right?

Yea you don’t get alerted with Zeus… so what I would do is zap from Alby and receive with nostr:npub13ljnkd633c7maxatymv3y2fqq8vt3qk7j3tt0vytv90eztwgha9qmfcfhw
I find it easier to have two wallets to budget my outgoing zaps and be alerted of incoming ones.. nostr:npub1hcwcj72tlyk7thtyc8nq763vwrq5p2avnyeyrrlwxrzuvdl7j3usj4h9rq also alerts

How do you set up two different accounts if I may ask?
Wallets* I meant, how do you set up two different wallets in #damus? One for outgoing zaps, and one for incoming?
Why do you find that easier?

Ooohh ok ok. So on “Wallet” tab you select your outgoing wallet, and in the zaps tab, under settings, you set your incoming zaps wallet. Makes sense
But I don’t quite get the additional percentage. For instance on your setup it says that when you #zap, a percentage goes to #Damus? How does that work? If you zap a user 10 sats, an additional 10 sats will be sent to Damus automatically?

You can decide the percentage…
So I am deducted 3 sats to zap and 3 sats to Damus to support them and my appreciation to the client.

Incoming goes to WOS, larger zaps come out of WOS
I have Zapple Pay set up on Alby so that when I click the reaction button 5 sats get zapped out. I can load Alby with small amounts of sats to keep my reactions in check
Is it actually necessary to keep track of your budget?

I have a budget for out goin zaps and I have set an amount monthly and I keep an account of how many come in… especially now zaps fund an education project.
Everyone has their way.. this is mine 🤙🫡💜
It isn’t really necessary, no, but I try to keep my zaps focussed on useful content so I like to see the amount of time that lapses between loading up my alby wallet every time.
Less time = more content that I enjoyed

You say incoming goes to WOS and outcoming too? Then when does Alby come in the play?
You can run this and no longer need Zapple pay if you want…
Just restart Damus and can same as usual
