Need better solution for discovering people interested in the same topics. Global has become unusable from a finding follows perspective. Plebchain and notes with follow lists are good stop gap for bitcoin community, but if other communities emerge they may not already have a crew established for this type of note.
Only subscribing to global feeds on paid relays still yields a tolerable level of traffic

Yeh I joined three paid relays, hard to tell where all the spam is coming from right now though, maybe if global could be relay configurable
On android nostros, you can select which relays you want the global feed to come from
