Ok well that’s what I do. But I have cancelled my residence in Europe, have residence in the Middle East and not report anything to anyone in Europe while I can be here for unlimited time as a citizen as long as the residence is registered elsewhere outside. Getting the residence somewhere else is the tricky part which you need to figure out and then remove yourself from the system in Europe. All you need then is private health insurance, eu doesn’t really offer any other benefits from residency, just obligations.
