For all that the fediverse tried to do right, it has proven that it has only succeeded in doing the same things wrong.

Now, instead of one gatekeeper, you have thousands, well done. 🤦🏻‍♂️

The voluntary gatekeeping is exactly what is requested and required. Your identity is solved on the protocol level, it can't be stripped from you. The rest is based on choice. There is really nothing wrong with that.

Anonymity isn’t the issue, it’s freedom, something the fediverse will never know anything about.

It’s not a bad thing, just the complete opposite of what Nostr’s goals are. There is a place for the fediverse, it’s just not here.🤷🏻‍♂️
