you went to schools governed by the department of education USA right?
i went to those places in person... i lived in novi sad (means new fields) for almost 3 years and i spent a year in jail in Sofia
ironically, sofia especially stood out to me in linux timezone lists... it just seemed like a cool name, and then i was living there
amazing city, though it used to be better
also, i did the whole walk from nettuno, with a few days in rome, and then on to forlimpopoli, on foot, barefoot shoes i bought in amsterdam... some finnish things, waterproof... they were great until i was in the snow in Sofia that winter and my feet turned into pure white prunes
oh yeah, forlimpopoli... that was after my feet wore out after i got a train ride thanks to some boar hunters in popoli, of all places
rode the bicycle up through bologna and venice and out to trieste and blew out its front tire... was a tank this bike... i liked to think of it as a mussolini bike, probably made in the 70s, by the marble plastic of the handlegrips
and i was like, ok, i won't steal a bike again, after that crash
and the next day i walked over the border to Slovenia into Nova Gorica and there was this nice bike just sitting there... so i took it
nearly froze to death half way to ljubljana and ultimately dumped it just before getting to Maribor as i crashed it crossing a train crossing and the wheels got caught in the rails and flipped me onto the ground
i hobbled to maribor but God gave me a half can of whipped cream and half of a bottle of wine along the way that i found, i forget where exactly nearby... so, it wasn't so bad, and then shortly after i came to Celije and not long after that i went across the border to hungary and goddamned border police picked me up as i was already in hungary, but i had no passport... because it got stolen back in Nettuno
