Could we get a way to edit notes on Nostr?

Kind of like RBF in Bitcoin but replace a previously signed note with a new version?

You could show the edited versions for transparency too. Bad idea?

You absolutely could. A client would have to hide the old version and only display the current version. A relay could mark the old version for deletion.

Sweet! I wonder if that will get proposed as a NIP or if it doesn’t need to be a protocol level thing.

Maybe just a client feature?
