WRONG !
democracy can work if the vote is weighted by the product of one's IQ ( converted to linear scale ) and Tax Burden
the votes of people with IQ below 100 are not counted. for those with IQ over 100 the vote weight goes up 10X for every standard deviation above the mean. so my vote would be worth 1,000 votes of an average person ( before adjusting for tax burden )
with taxes even simpler - if you pay no net taxes ( you receive more assistance than you pay taxes ) then you do not vote.
everybody else's vote is weighted in direct proportion to how munch money they paid in taxes over their lifetime, minus how much benefits they have received.
under this system an average surgeon's vote will be worth more than the votes of an entire low income housing project worth of Negros that spans five blocks.
every month a vote of no confidence is held such that if the candidate is "captured" every month you get the opportunity to remove them.
if removed there is another vote on what the fate of the removed candidate should be and the electorate can vote to execute you.
PROBLEM SOLVED.
