You’re literally looking at small creators and saying fuck you. They live off that revenue. And Premium views pay way more than ad supported ones.

YouTube premium is the best subscription deal I know of. Infinity content for less than $20 a month, no ads, can watch on phone and TV, lock screen playback.
The only downside is the prying eyes of Google, why lots of cypherpunks maneuver around cuz of the tracking right. But I agree about supporting the creators .

YouTube complied with the EU's request to deplatform Russell Brand when Rumble gave them the finger. And, they complied with all the COVID censorship. People died because of that shit.
Use Rumble and ask creators to post their content their, as well. Support your favorite creators directly through any one of their crowdfunding services or buy their merch and use affiliate links.
maybe creators joining like fountain or the Creator in a p2p fashion is the way. there are many YouTubers I love but no easy way to directly zap them.
