There some librarybsearchbthinf here in the UK that searches through all public library catalogues. Just in case there's something like this where you are. And sometimes you can ask libraries to order books (probably more difficult if, like this one, it seems out of print). I feel somewhat invested now lol

I'm going to repost my reward offer in a bit for visibility, then I'll check the public libraries in my area to see if there's a copy nearby. It seems like a collector's item, so probably hard for a library to get their hands on. I think the fact that I'm looking for a 24 year old *children's book* makes finding it even more difficult.

good luck, found this. i believe this is the illustrator of the version you're after (?) she has a contact on the website, might be worth an ask. no idea what you're specifically after. inter-library loans... that's what i was trying to say before, just remembered the term. i know this feeling of trying to find annoying difficult things, i think that's why i'm so invested. it's also fun lol
