I love MSTR and everything, but it still carries counterparty risk. I would never own any Bitcoin proxies. Sorry, Strategy! Stacking actual sats is still the best Bitcoin strategy.

10% MSTR for fun - 90% FBTC because no other options on an IRA account is not too bad.
For IRA, yes. I think this will also change soon
You think IRA accounts will allow self-custody without tax and penalties?
I agree! In addition I wonder what the systemic risk posed my MSTR is. Surely it is becoming a point of failure that could be attacked. Imagine if they were forced to dump? That would be brutal. How can we reduce the risk of catastrophic failure (even if short term)? It ties into my PhD thesis but I am not going to mention that here, don't want to dox myself.
At the end of the day, it’s a company managed by people like you and me. And ppl make mistakes
We need more companies buying Bitcoin at scale now because sometimes the only way out is deeper in.
I bought an F ton of OTM options leaps when it was priced below mnav. Basically the price of the company was worth not only less than the btc it held it was also giving the multi billion dollar business preBTC 0 value.
Insane. Now I just write covered calls every week and use it to buy BTC, more leaps and some puts to protect my downside. It's a BTC making machine.
