Despite the #OGL fiasco, I was really looking forward to the upcoming Bigby giant book for #5e. Its subject matter interests me greatly, and its table of contents on #dndbeyond looks solid.

But the new #AI art fiasco with that book is really turning me off.

How #WotC responds to this is going to be important to me. I know I've been more forgiving to them than most -- and I want to continue being forgiving -- but they're making it hard.

The artist did not use generative AI, but did do an editing run with an AI powered editor.

WotC stated that the commission was completed over a year ago (when very few were against generative AI) and that they are adjusting their contracts to forbid generative AI
