Wow that looked like fun trip. That waterfall at the end 💜. Had the locals been exposed to Christian teachings before you arrived? Curious how they responded.
The team from Harvesters International did the preparation work for 3 years.
They teamed up with a local church in Saint Antonio del Ica and identified leaders along the Amazon. This trip was arranged to train and equip around 50 people to go out and start discipleship and planting.
There are 9 totally unreached people groups in the Western Amazon that we know of.
The cool thing is that I set up a geyser fund before the trip and got some #sats donations to share and orange pill some.
