We're already pretty close to that as is.

I think in some states you have to upload your ID to use porn sites.

Definitely a slippery slope that might cause more censorship on the internet.

yes, it certainly seems that way.

the proof of checkmark was just a bootloader...it's going to continue

no surprise if we have private relays that we just pay up to get into to avoid the bots and fracture the internet up a bit. vps network bans, country bans...etc
