As Durov’s case shows, this centralization makes Telegram vulnerable to state pressure, regardless of legal legitimacy. Integrating #nostr would benefit telegram ! Messages could be published to nostr relays instead of Telegram’s servers. Governments can’t force Telegram to block content if Telegram is just one client of a decentralized network. Users can post content that propagates across relays, outside of Telegram’s infrastructure. Simple as that!
