The people in charge always demand you be polite.
You can have a polite personality or be straight forward
I’ve realized both ways are fine and important
The point being that nobody gets to tell me what I am ALLOWED to say or how I am OBLIGED to say it. Anyone who doesn't want to see it can hit the mute.
Just muted that npub because he only interacts to tell me to calm down and be nice. Like the Nostr version of Miss Manners.
It's a common rhetorical technique on here, to see someone make a good argument and gain some traction and show up in the replies all "But you need to say that nicer. You sound mean. Use a more pleasant tone. I need to feel loved, seen, and heard."
I call it "topping from the bottom".
Show up and plead for reformulation, so that they retract their statement and rewrite it to be less effective.
I guess the German word would be "Majestätsbeleidigung", which is incredibly ironic in this context.

Like the same people who claimed beating up AfD politicians was "democracy in action" now claiming that blocking the entrance to a building with some tractors and throwing cow poop is "a danger to democracy". LOL
Oh yeah when I came here I did the same, I was believing that kindness is the only way, not realizing that the emotion of anger or similar are just as important to feel and to share.
And now I am like „yeah say what you want, share what you want. You’re just a human being expressing yourself who am I to judge.“
And I just wanted to say that I realized some like to act polite by nature and some are just more fire by nature, like you. And I also know that you’re still a lovely woman! Say wha you want 🙌🏼🙌🏼
