Honestly, I let physics and chaotic nature do its thing. I throw paint here and there, but towards the end of the painting, I do choose to fill in the blank paper with blobs of paint. Fold and squish.

The more I tamper with a painting the muddier it will become. The trick is not too much paint, I think.
