why are Pajeets like this ?

https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/all/why-is-it-not-possible-to-completely-disable/a4861ae2-2173-e011-8dfc-68b599b31bf5

a person asks why it's impossible to turn off cleartype and a Pajeet gives him step by step instructions to turn it on. probably 9 times out of 10 when pajeets "help" somebody on the internet it is similar to this.

i am also trying to turn it off but even when i uncheck "use cleartype" Windows still takes me to the same steps to configure cleartype as if i was turning it on instead of off.

Windows is Pajeetware.

But the guy says "Untick 'Turn On ClearType'". Yes, it should be a toggle instead of a tick mark. Also, you are the pajeet for using Windows.

if you turn off the cleartype by unticking it, why does it then take you through the wizard to set up the cleartype ?

that's the point - it doesn't turn off. whether you turn it on or off it takes you through exactly same setup.

and yes i did mis-read what the Pajeet wrote. i read "turn on cleartype" rather than "untick turn on cleartype"

but no windows is awesome i love it. but this one issue is annoying.

honestly it's hard to say if the problem is cleartype or my screen. i am on a 8K screen that uses some kind of dither for wide viewing angles and in one particular instance there is extremely bright red halo around an icon that shouldn't be there. it is literally brighter than the icon itself. it is razor thin but it's definitely there.

Sony TVs were never good as monitors ... good for movies though.

This must be Microsoft Windows... #nofurthercomment
