25 years ago I saw a post on one of the weed growing forums that showed an excavation (30'x30'x13' deep) with a poured concrete floor, steel siding walls, I-beam ceiling support, and then eventually covered back over with earth - and then a house built on top.

That's been the dream ever since.

I’ve had this daydream since I was a kid. You would access the grand underground house from a decoy old dilapidated farmhouse above. I always imagined the secret entrance behind a closet in one of the bedrooms. 😀
