In general the amount should exceed 5000 sats to reduce the fee ratio to about 0.5% in the LN.

Cashu eCash is applicable for the range below 5000 sats.

Most "zaps" are below 5000 sats. This is another reason why "zaps" should switch from LN to Cashu eCash.
