So freeing.

We aren't privy to the internal behaviours of others (thoughts), but if we were, we would realize a lifechanging truth: everyone's own mind is mostly busy with what pertains to themselves and is replete with unhelpful and inaction-creating self-criticism. Knowing this, without trying to struggle with these thoughts, we are more free to do what matters even with the presence of a berating mind. No one really cares about the things about us we think they do, it's up to us to care about our own lives enough to improve them through committed action.

Acceptance brings meaningful change.
