IRAs are a scam.

You expose your stack for the promise of some tax benefits down the road, and you also give up sole custody of the keys to your sats.

Better to keep your corn in a silo that only you control and have knowledge of IMO

I think IRAs do make some sense for fiat savings, particularly the Roth variety, assuming you plan on living into your late seventies and beyond.
