Actually, censorship can be leveraged in our favour, since whatever the powers that be try to censor is what we we need most to know about. It's likely possible now for us to automate a process of putting stuff out, reading the response of various systems and platforms to that, and inferring a picture of reality with a greater level of certainty than would otherwise have been possible.
