Maybe, but it wouldn’t surprise me if it’s on purpose. Bitcoin is filled with symbolism. We will never know.

Blocks are found every ~10 minutes. Difficulty adjustment (to make sure that the interval stays ~10 minutes depending on the hashrate) is every 2016 blocks.

10 mins is only a rough average. The actual duration is dictated by the rule set out in this image. It’s similar to how each halving isn’t exactly every four years. It’s slightly less than that: sth like 3y 10m or 3y 11m.
