i average 6 hours. i used to do this before kids (and wake up with energy) now not so much energy unless i drink coffee, though im wanning myself off of it. cant wait till children are 6-7+ and get get there own drinks from the fridge/cuboards at 3 am if they wake up thirsty
Holler at me when you’re up at 4:30 you get a 15 minute break at 10am and you have to stay till 6:00. Then wrestle a fire hose that doesn’t shut off and aim ai at shit all day. Cold, in out, hot. Don’t matter. Layers of ppe. Cas1 ain’t no joke. And I’ve been an erector doing ironwork, the whole shabang. Sheetrock, tile, framing. Roofing, painting, trim work, carpentry, plumbing, electrical. I can list like 80+ skills. But I’m proud to be blue collar. I earn my shit, no one can take that feeling away. Knowing you earned something.
i ain't comin' hollering anytime soon.... i work from home on the phone/computer. I wouldn't give up the job for double, even triple the pay for the hours or toil you just described. You the man!
