Why would you put all your eggs in one basket?
For structural integrity. Ever see a bird stash theirs all over the place?
BTC and XMR for crypto. Everything else is a poopcoin, including any stablecoin.

And why ETC? That one seems potentially worth something imo
The old me would have said diversification is key
The more time goes by, I don’t see anything else of value to diversify into
Risk. Liquidity. Counter party. Very few assets can remotely compare
It's the personality.
Some people just can't think and ACT out of their frame.
And BTW, the frame is made by others. They need to follow others, otherwise their frame isn't valid.
#bitcoin isn't mainstream a frame yet.
