I think smaller government is better, but what are some services that you think should remain public?

For example, I was thinking about education and how there are some problems with the public education system. For this reason, private education has become a popular avenue for many families. At the same time, I think all youth should have the opportunity to be educated. I don’t think removing public education is on the table, but I was just thinking about what education would look like if it was completely private and people could decide between many different private educators, based on their values and prices.

What are some services that the government should refrain from cutting?
