It’s true, you cannot tell anyone how they should feel.

I’m pushing back on the gender aspect because this (can be) a very adversarial and blunt place on the internet - and it doesn’t do anyone justice when someone leaves and it gets boiled down to boys are mean to girls.

Two people had a nasty, rude disagreement and unfortunately one of them left. I respect you standing up for your friend.
