Cheap little computer that's a step up from Raspberry Pi. They have laptop-grade Intel or AMD processors. Think like Intel NUC but better.

Shoving a pre-made board into a case and popping in a MicroSD card is not "diy"
you're right tho, there's diff leveling with various time n effort consuming, any level of play is worthwhile.
