Today I will be attempting to run a “real” relay that only accepts posts from verified NIP-05 npubs.

I don’t imagine this be difficult, but I’ve never tried this beyond what nostr:npub1aghreq2dpz3h3799hrawev5gf5zc2kt4ch9ykhp9utt0jd3gdu2qtlmhct provides.

You mean the nip-05?

This will be done for cafe customers in person. It will be verification. As part of the loyalty program.

Oh. Don’t bother with NIP-05.

Pubkey whitelist is easier and people with other NIP-05s can use it.

ah so you want to go the Nostr Plebs way… :)

but not everyone will want to use it and it will lead to a lot of people being disappointed, compared to a dedicated NIP-05 service
